An18 years old committed suicide cause his roommate and another friend video taped his homosexual sexcapades and uploaded on internet.
It was not about being homo or not, Youtube is full of jerkjhead desis who posted their sexual encounters with their desi girlfriends. I am not sure if its because they were ticked at their GFs or just to show it off to their male friends.
More social media websites evolve, more reasons I see the damage they bring to the society than any good.
this was really sad. the concerning factor is that youtube and social networking websites are making us immune to respecting people's privacy and personal space, all in the name of entertainment. the peeping tom roommate had the room wired with cameras and he was transmitting the 'encounter' live through his webcam, its sick, and not just once, reportedly he attempted to do it again a few days later. so humiliating this guy wasn't enough once, he probably enjoyed the reaction he got from his audience. i think the 2 involved should be made an example of, to discourage this kind of voyeurism which is getting common in school/college going crowd. how is publicly humiliating someone funny or entertaining is beyond me.

well youtube was never used to air this video. the roommate used ichat to announce and air the video live via his webcam.

May be not on yt , but internet has some content like that , I was sent links by people for that that kind of content. I am not interested so I deleted . Next time I get one I will send you the link.

I can send you the links man. Nothing nude but there are plenty of hidden camera make out videos recorded by boyfriend through his cell phone camera
and as Mirch said, other websites even have semi-nude videos of those girls, and they are not even adult websites, just the one with little more lenient polices than YT.

These things have happened long before the arrival of internet and youtube. Back in 1991 a young colleague of mine committed sucide at the age of 19 after being caught up in the similiar situation.

Suicide rate amongst teens because of bullying is not a new thing, I agree, but internet just added a new layer to it.
