Can u suggest some interesting topics.. one of my friends is doing hyper parenting - where parents try so hard to make life failure-proof for their children that they are raising kids who are ill equipped to handle the freedom and responsibilities of adulthood..
something interesting like that.. first i was going to do censorship in the media but thats too common

What it's like to be a woman in Saudi Arabia and how the Islamic society tends to treat woman like a child where she has no rights for independent thinking, desire , profession and/or freedoms to walk down the street, ride a bike anywhere she chooses, etc etc etcetc.
Title of your written project could be, How I would not want to be a Woman under Islamic Theocratic Government or Islamic Law and have my human rights denied or glad I am not a female Saudi citizen.
Another topic: Assimilation for successful Immigration and for the betterment of the immigrant and their family's prosperity.
Perhaps this topic: Darwinism and its application to the flora and fauna through the eons and the one constant tree which exists as it did when it first appeared on earth . The only tree not to change it's structure , the only tree not to have evolved to adapt to its terrain.
*There is such a tree, only tree of its kind and it is found in many countries , even most definitely in your neighborhood in almost all countries. Interesting if you discover which one. Just a little search at the library or internet to get name of tree. it's not a Pine tree or an Oak tree , or even an Elm or a Coolabah tree..... *

The topic is not women. The topic is parenthood. But ofcourse you have to insert your hateful propaganda because no post of yours is complete w/out it. You're so predictable, by the way. :D
LD: You can do a wide range of things. You can do something like "Unnecessary parentship and suppressed children"...just an example...
It's kinda like some asian parents like to keep their kids under their wing and command for as long as possible, which can be quite long, and the consequences of that are often that children lack self-esteem and confidence. Not all, but some. Especially the newly arrived immigrant families.

No need to insult me Teggy, I am not slow. perhaps remedial reading lessons required on your part , as the OP stated " current social issues" he gave an example of what someone else chose. I wouldn't have to correct you in the first place if you read the Op's post slowly with comprehension.
You mean like muslim parents controlling their daughters , then their daughters become controlled by a man when they marry, specifically Saudi Arabia. At least Asian children can interact amongst the sexes and the females aren't denied education, work and driving and walking or even biking or motorbiking amongst the population where ever they may reside. And I just picked up my Ducati Hypermotard on the weekend, one great motorbike, vroom , vroom..................aaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhh

And the reason i say that is because most people visiting or actively participating here are from Asia, thus their experience would help LD more than your rhetorical posts. But then again, it's you and what's new!
Had you said what you said now in your earlier post, i would not have said what i said. I still stand corrected because half of what you said up there was totally unnecessary. It's quite obvious your point of objection was not parents in that post.

Oh you mean south east asian not the Asian like the Japanese, Koreans who permit their daughters freedom to engage between the sexes, encourage education , good citizenship , equal opportunity in sport, driving, walking, cycling, motorbiking in society and active participation at all levels of society in cultural and artistic pursuits. There is still some mysogyny to overcome but not the horrendous conditions of subjugation and suppression many african, and south east asian women have to fight for like in Afghanistan, many parts of Pakistan, Bangladesh and India including numerous other places.
As for what i said in earlier post , it still did beckon your repsonse , so no excuses. But I am happy to read you agree you stood corrected by me.

Hey, you can write about teen pregnancy and teen parenthood, it is big social issue especially in US.
