well, you are right about Inzi but it is not about inzi only....what about yoyo, what about kaneria...what about razzaq.......what about sami....in my opinion the problem is even deeper..these same players can actually field pretty well (except kaneria) on a given day but they do not have right/consistent attitude.....no one in pakistani team can hit the wickets with a direct throw better than yoyo, yet he is so inconsistent in the field..... the problem is the attitude itself.....sometimes pak team is actually amazing in the field because all the players are extra ehthusiastic/alert for whatever reason but for rest of the macthes, they are not that alert......so at end of the day, it is all about having right attitude and i dont think that rhodes can improve anyone's attitude.....afridi and malik are always alert fielders from the day one....

I agree with most of your points and just want to add something which is one of the major reasons for pathetic fielding displays of Pakistan players over the years and the underlying cause of this inconsistent attitude. The grounds and the below standard conditions of the outfields all over the country. The hard outfields deviod of grass cover has resulted in fielders lack of interest towards agressive fielding. They spend more time polishing their batting and bowling skills before and after their arrival in the international arena.
In order to make sure that future Pakistani cricketers are better fielders, PCB needs to work on a lage scale long term project which would involve providing cricket grounds of International quality to the youngsters.
At present the only one in Pakistan is the Multan cricket stadium. Hopefully it will remain the same in future provided it can survive non-cricketing events ranging from concerts to hourse and cattle shows.
