Yeah but I was also considered to have a “good” height… And i’m only 5’2" so that shows u whats desirable

About the skinniness, I don’t think that’s only a Pakistani thing..in every single culture/societ/country, there’s ppl who want to achieve maximum thinness.. But about Pakistan, I’d say that curviness is the general standard.. not too thin, and not too fat either. At least, I was never bugged abt being extra thin…(just not as big sigh).

But like everyone has said, perhaps hte #1 trait that defines “beauty” in our culture is light skin.

I found it interesting that they said that they find taller girls desirable because several of the guys there were around 5’6" 5’7" themselves. So why would you want a girl near your own height?

this artifical skin-whitening is mostly found among punjabies/sindhies/muhajirs in pakistan. you wont find it in other provnices (northern kashmir, nwfp etc etc)

Coz they're naturally lighter colored? Which is nice.. but if someone is dark is that really a "bad" thing? I mean just be happy with whatever you are.. its the same with ppl here, who go crazy trying to get tanned..but its still not as bad as the artificial lightenng that pakis try to do

true, Kashmiri / Pathan women are considered to be prettier than their sisters in Punjab and Sindh, or for that matter the rest of India.

Indian women have won many pagents for being the worlds most prettiest. Since most Pakistani's are converts they have the same genes thus Pakistani women can feel proud of their Indian sister's achievements.

Beauty doesn't come from color
to be really beautiful every feature needs to be perfect, and pakis are color concious and this is really sad.

lets address one thing at a time.
I agree being fair does not mean pretty, however how many dark heroines are there in bollywood, and thoe that they are, how much make up do they toss on before getting on the screen, os its not just ‘we guys’ who have got things mixed up.

The indian women who have won are the standard of beauty in india, which is different than what avg ppl there look like.

and lastly, there is an entire thread on how there is minimal gene overlap between pakistanis and indians except in some parts of the country.

that is a whole diff topic though.

i am pathan yh but i have met girls and guys who are punjabi sindi watever who are exteremly light coloured but it dont make u attractive and if u think it does then u need to see more of the world

hmmm....Pakistani standard of beauty is being pure dood colour gori chiti patli lambi girls with long hair down to their waists- Well that's what you normally see on tv and in Pakistani dramas. There is a definate pattern I guess..
