What hair colour are you guys currently sporting? I would say my hair is medium brown but I want to go lighter

I would love to lighten my hair but im too scared of damage and if it doesn't look good so i might highlight. If you wana go lighter how much so also what is your skin tone is it warm or cool? These really matter as some hair colours look terrible on warm but good on cool.

^Highlighting is a brilliant way of seeing if you like it first..
I had highlights for about a year before I took the plunge and went lighter all over..

i had light brown and dark blonde highlights..i just recently coloured it black!!!!

Is there a special tried and tested shampoo that actually works for color treated hair so the color doesn't fade?
I wanted ash brown but it still has loads of red coming thru but will do for now

Currently, my hair is a caramel/ash blonde colour, rather like this:
I was thinking of going a bit lighter for summer but was a bit scared (as I had an “interesting” experience with that in the past lol), so I decided to try a couple of shades lighter than my natural colour first and see if I liked it.

A couple of years ago I decided to give blonde a try but wanted a more caramel shade of blonde, like this:
However, my hairdresser made my hair very platinum blonde, almost white, rather like Daenerys, here:

Ha! I've had mine as light as that :D It's a slightly more subtle shade right now..

The damage is what is stopping me from going lighter :( I might still go ahead though in a few months.
