Noticed most, if not many of my posts have been obliterated. Agree that if oblideration was deserved, ok. But why not say why?

Thank you for raising your concerns. It is not because your words may have been “unpopular” that they were edited out from this Forum. Each of the Moderators tries to provide a Forum here that is relatively balanced; we may not always succeed but the World Affairs Forum is certainly for the use of everyone, whether or not their opinions are “popular” or “unpopular”.
Part of the rules for the World Affairs Forum require that, “Broadly speaking, topics opened for a discussion on a particular topic should stick to discussion on that or any directly related topic. Posts that are irrelevant or meant to derail a discussion will be deleted.” I believe this may be the reason that you are finding several of your posts being deleted. We do attempt to strictly ensure that replies unrelated to the thread’s focus, are deleted - in order to ensure that the thread’s continuity and focus are maintained. We never hinder anyone from opening a fully separate thread regarding any topic they may prefer. (If the thread is not strictly of a political nature, it will more likely than not be transferred from the World Affairs Forum to the General Forum, but the thread itself will be allowed to remain open for discussion).
If you ever have specific complaints against the editing/removal of your posts/threads, please do feel free to drop any of the three Moderators a private message. Inevitably as each of us does, we will make mistakes - but we each try our best to make the Forum a place where everyone feels they are able to participate and share their views - regardless of whether or not they are “popular” or “unpopular”. If you ever have any specific concerns/questions, etc., never hesitate to drop the Moderators a private message via your Inbox. That’s what we are here for after all.
