So reading about the ‘friend wants to marry a gora’ thread got me thinking…
Let’s say if a person wants to convert into islam…(due to the religion itself, not for partner reasons)…
and..
Let’s say this person was not part of another religious affiliation before…or was…and therefore is not circumcised…
Is it a requirement to be circumcised for a male as an adult when converting…

I really dont know about the religious aspects of this whole thing but something I know for sure is that most people these days have their sons circumsized no matter what the religion. When I saw my newborn son....it was like REALLY ugly lol. (sorry, no offense intended, this is purely my own personal reaction). Its cleaner, its healthier and its MUCH more pleasing to look at so it should be done :)

Well there is a move towards people not circumcising their children in America...
I'm not asking if its right or wrong to be circumcised..just if you have to when converting....

No he doesn’t have to (if it’s difficult because of his age), if a non-circumcised man embraces Islam, he does not have to get circumcised if it creates any problems.
