This is the view of some people, especially of Ahmadi community in Pakistan.
But there is another explanation of Buddha’s influence on Christian Bible. It is said that Buddhist preachers at the time of historical Jesus were traveling around the world. These preachers also went to Levant and Egypt, where Biblical books were being written by early Christians.
Thus these Christians came to know about Buddha’s teachings, and incorporated the same ideas in their own religious books, attributing these teachings to a supposed Jesus instead of Buddha.
