Sectarianism seems to be rearing its ugly head in Punjab again. Is it a coincidence that when ever Sharif's are ruling these clashes take a dangerous turn. I hope we don't go back into the late 80's.

Eight including ASWJ spokesman killed in Karachi violence - DAWN.COM
The spokesperson for the ASWJ, Maulana Akbar Saeed Farooqi, was injured in a gun-firing incident near Safari Park in Karachi’s Gulshan-i-Iqbal area.
He was shifted to a hospital for treatment where he succumbed to his wounds.

immediate action needed, across Pakistan. In Bhakkar they could stop it with curfew, but in Karachi that's not an option.

Even Dr Malik seems to have come to the conclusion that the Sharif’s can act as a bridge between Balochistan government and ASWJ/LEJ.

However, the insider of the meeting said that the prime minister was silent when Dr Baloch asked about the peace formula, which has been applied in Punjab.

It is not secret that punjab has become a safe haven for LeJ. There were some arrests for shia community but is it only shia community responsible where has been targeted attack on them during last year? Please correct me if there were any LeJ related arrests too apart from Shia org in bhakkar?

No news about that. I am certain Punjab government cannot act against LEJ.
