Once again Dalits are being attacked these high caste Hindu’s in India. The world must take notice of this kind of persecution.
Curfew in Morena as Dalits, upper caste clash
Curfew was clamped in the town on Thursday as members of a Dalit community clashed with people belonging to upper castes, blocked highways and pelted stones at trains, including the Delhi-Bhopal Shatabdi Express, protesting the killing of a state BSP leader, police said. As many as 15 passengers of the Agra-Gwalior passenger train were injured in the stone pelting, while a 12-year-old boy and a shopkeeper were also injured when a angry mob looted several shops in Uttampura area and set them afire, Superintendent of Police Ravi Gupta said.
The agitators pelted stones at the Delhi-Bhopal Shatabdi Express and attempted to set a goods train afire following which trains through Morena were halted for a few hours, source said adding that a GRP post was also ransacked. Police fired teargas shells and opened fire at four places- Singhal Basti, Uttampura, Gopinath Ki Pulia and Khakhi Baba Ki Gufa near the railway station- to disperse angry crowds, he said. The major clash between the members of the two communities was reported from Gopinath Ki Pulia area, the SP said adding security has been beefed up in the city

^^ Do you have anything substantial to add to a discussion, ever? And yes, you got the name of your darned desh RIGHT. There is hope.
Anyway, back to the topic. Very interesting to note that more than 160 million people (a conservative estimate) in India are considered “Untouchable”—people tainted by their birth into a caste system that deems them impure, less than human.

^^ Let’s not talk about frustrations, shall we? Is that the reason why you’re trolling against Pakistan in every single thread you’ve posted in, so far? Someone needs to check into rehab

It is surprising that acts like those described below have been happening uptill now in India, and at official level.
No more caste kitchens for Bihar cops
Policemen belonging to different castes will no longer be seen enjoying meals in their “caste mess.” Mishras, Sinhas, Sharmas, Vermas, Yadavs and Paswans will now sit together and eat — a practice unheard of among Bihar policemen till date. In the state capital and other places, police messes are dotted with caste kitchens. And this practice has been going on for long, from the days of the British rule. Initially, chief minister Nitish Kumar was surprised to hear about the caste kitchens. “I am hearing about it for the first time. It is surprising and shocking. I will look into it,” he said recently. The CM acted swiftly. First, he sought a reply from the police department to check veracity of the report. He learnt that the “caste kitchens” did exist and the obnoxious practice had been going on in most of the police lines of the state right from the pre-Independence period. Nitish ordered that the practice stop at once. “The system is deplorable and a source of caste and communal hatred among cops,” he said.

Dalit issue must be addressed: Tutu
“Obviously one of the issues the country is facing is that of Dalits,” said Archbishop Emeritus Nobel laureate Desmond Tutu here on Wednesday. He was speaking after attending a meet on ‘Building peace through dialogue: Reconciling differences’, organised by the Singamma Sreenivasan Foundation and Indian Council for Cultural Relations. “An alliance of all the groups working for Dalits must focus their efforts on removing the scurf. You don’t need to wait for the government participation.” Tutu shared his experiences with a host of dignitaries including police commissioner Ajai Kumar Singh, artistes S G Vasudev, Ammu Joseph, V Balu and Suma Sudhendra: “In this world, some believe that might is right. But eventually it is not those who call the shots. An eye for an eye will make the world blind.” “South Africa is grateful to India for supporting their struggle in fighting apartheid,” he said. On Mahatma Gandhi, he said Mahatma’s beliefs are quoted even today as gems and pearls in speeches. Governor T N Chaturvedi said “peace exists till there is dignity of man, when that is violated conflicts arise”. ICCR director general Pawan Varma was present.
