theres a product called Mederma that works wonders on scars - even stretch marks. its pretty pricey but it works. about $20 for a toothpaste-sized tube, you have to use it daily for 6 to 8 weeks.

that cream, i used.....um s somthing or other from boots. Savlon, I have horrible scarring from boiling oil and tripping etc. It worked wonders.

i used mederma on my stretch marks...i didnt do the fully prescribed 6-8 weeks andthe marks were/are AWFUL, babies were big! so i'm pretty sure that it worked well because the stretch marks are much better but well at this point after 3 of them the only other option is a tummy tuck. fingers crossed for winning lotto.

Another option ... lasers .... also expensive, if you go that way finding a reputable, experienced institue would be key.

Nancy how bad are the spots, if it’s all over your face from sever acne than your best bet and worth the cost is going to see a professional.

If it’s one or two spots than try either Dr. Murad products or Proactive, if they don’t work than you get a money back guarantee. Personally I've used/use the Dr. Murad products such as the cleanser and moisturizer and like the results.

You should also consider having a course of microdermasion facials first and then using some prescribed products for acne prone skin to maintain the results.

I've found they just go away with time. Just wash your face regularly. And eat healthy - lots of fruits and veggies.

Is the acne reoccuring?

If so, theres a drug called Isotretinoin used for severe acne which works wonders so much that it leaves your skin perfectly clear and in such good condition. Your acne scars will be history. Believe me, people have tried obtaining this drug illegally. Its a prescription-only drug in the UK used under hospital supervision only (as its teratogenic) though I’m not sure about its availability in Pakistan.

is this drug same as ‘Roaccutane’ ??? my friend used it.. theres no acne re-occuring but the marks of old spots are still there…
