There is some benefit from ‘bleeding’ or letting blood go out of body.

Cupping was an old method for it.

There is no real scientific or authentic reason to continue to do so…when other method of letting blood out are available.

Not arguing with someone’s ‘experience’ here, but most of the ‘benefits’ we hear about cupping being useful relate to very vague problems and some of those can be considered "phychosomatic disorders.

What is sunnah here?, just getting benefit from some deliberate bleeding, or is it a old cure method of letting the thick /*fasid *blood out through leeches or through small painless cuts.?

What ever everchanging scinece theories say, if some thing is proven through authentic ahadith then it is beter to stick to it. Cure is not the method but ALLAHs willingness to cure some one through that method( Remember that bani israel riwayat about a prophet curing himself from a medicine after he got shifa from the same through the same medicine before?), sticking with sunnahs makes it more highly likely to be cured.
