noo.. I let it melt and it becomes like a chashni (if u know wht tht means) and the outside of the cupcakes are all sweet then and so yummyy!!! The trick is to take the cupcakes out of the tray before the sugar is still melted.

So , I oiled the tray and poured some batter directly in the cupcake tray and guess what .. the cupcake got stuck and didnt come out nicely

Sahar, do you melt the butter first?

Just use liners.. It is the best way and makes life so much easier…

Never oil or butter the tray only, u shud’ve dusted it with some flour because they will stick.

No, the cupcake wrappers do not burn. And you place the liners in the cups of the tray and then fill with cake mixture. You must use a cupcake tray to make cupcakes - not a normal tray.

Clothesmad , I found the silicone bakeware really good … the cupcakes turned out very nicely shaped and they didnt stick to the silicone liners at all … it was fabulous ..

farahsha, u can get wax paper very easily in dubai, check out carrefour.

butter and flour, or cupcake liners, or wilton cake release! you can use either/or. i’ve never had much luck with Pam, to be honest. and sillicone bakeware is awesome! you just pop things out of them easily and with no mess.

breadcrumbs? they don’t form a crust at the bottom and sides of the cupcakes? interesting…

farahsha, u can get wax paper very easily in dubai, check out carrefour.

wax paper is amazing but for cupcakes? unless they’re pre-cut to size, it’ll be a huge pain. you’ll have to trace out circles on the wax paper to fit to the cupcake tray size and then cut each one out individually. you’re better off using liners!

no you don’t… silicon cups make baking super easy. just pour the batter and bake, then pop out your cupcakes easily.
no idea where to get them in dubai.
