awww thanks guys. i didn’t realize they would be such a hit. even at my work so many people took photos and they are all over facebook now.
frappuccino - cupcakes are chocolate with vanilla frosting
redvelvet - i didn’t even frost each separate petal. i just used this technique
misschievous - i just used a thick styrofoam packaging sheet that came out from my tv stand box and cut a hole in it to fit the metal bucket (or vase but mine wasn’t a real vase) through. my work is literally only 2 mins away from my home so i didn’t bother with covering it with anything. you could definitely wrap it up but you’d have to be real careful with the icing. also for long distance transport i would not recommend frosting until you are at the destination because it tends to get too soft and falls off if you leave it out for too long.

^ Thanks rouz. I was just thinking from a gift point of view…I think loose cellophane would probably work best.
