mehndi is not a hindu tradition....mehndi has nothing to do with religion....it is a CULTURE thing..i dont understand why some pple cant differeniate between culture and religion.....pisses me off....
same thing as wearing shalwar kameez....why dont we all dress up in abayas/robes instead of wearing shalwar kameez....hindus/sikhs wear them...thats cuz its in our CULTURE!!!!!
women can sing and dance but not in a mixed gathering .....in mixed gatherings these things are absolutely forbidden,unfortunately most mehndis and dholkis are like that, so it is best to get rid of them altogather
parts of culture that go against our religion should be discarded
wearing shalwar kammez does not go against the islamic dress code, being islamic does not mean adopting all arab customs
