Cultural role of mothers! for providing hope to Pakistani youth

Mothers are the true leaders of any nation. When mothers raise optimist and pragmatic kids, the nation develops and moves forward.

If on the other hand, the mothers themselves are ignorant and emotional, shortsighted and prejudiced, then they will raise their boys and girls who are devoid of hope and positive energy.

It does not mean that mothers have to ignore the injustices going on this world. No. They only need to cement in their boys’ minds that they have to work hard even though there are a lot of injustices.

Pakistan’s future mothers are under severe attack by the tribals, Taliban, and Islamists. Even when the schools were open, Pakistani society started a trend to force mothers into producing a lot of emotionally unbalanced, prejudiced youth who were filled with negative thoughts.

The situation is even worse for the overseas Pakistani youth. They already strike out for being minority. Add to that limitation, if Pakistani immigrant mothers don’t work extra hard to instill the positive thoughts, then the youth and especially men are lost in the see of white majority. Then the only way they can react is by forming gangs and refusing to play a positive role in their adopted societies.

Thus it is extremely important for current and future mothers, to teach their Pakistani youth to hold their heads high, keep positive thoughts day and night, and work for the betterment and progress of the local as well as global society.

It is also important for Pakistani youth of 18+ years of age to look at themselves and ask a simple question at the end of every day. “How many hours today have I spent being negative, and for how many hours I remained positive towards the world around me”.

If the balance of hours is in favor of being positive and constructive, then you have made it. If however the negativism is your main stay, they pray to Allah that He opens your heart to be positive.

May everyone in our country is blessed with positive thoughts and pragmatism. Ameen.
