has any one noticed that culottes trend in pakistan??? i saw so many girls wearing long shirts with loose, baggy but straight pants - culotte style for pakistan - i think it looks really classy on younger girls - teens to mid 20’s but after that, its a difficult style to carry off, esp if u have gained some weight…the straight pants with high side slits have a much more slimming effect…
Maybe it is a new thing in Pakistan, but just like Bonbiennere said, they are quick to come and go. Besides, you should wear what suits you best, and not because something is the trend and already thousands of other girls wear it too. Same goes for the capri-trend I have seen in Pakistan. Living out of pakistan culottes and capris are a must for the summer, so already bored with wearing that.
you can get one made in black and/or white/offwhite which will go with quite a number of shirts..shauq bhi poora ho jayega and zyada suit zaaya bhi nahin hoan gay jub fashion 'bhaag' jaye ga :D
i think you have to be tall and if you look wide in the waist it'll just make you look like a tree stump, short and wide. sometimes the cropped thing makes a girl appear heavier in my book.
I think it depends on the outfit. I've seen some where the culottes/pants have more of a straight cut (less of of bootleg or bell cut) and those for me are cuter.
The red suit in the pic is flipperty (I know, I make up words) on the bottom for me.
i remember them from the first time round in the 90's and i loved them. I agree with Doree, we would wear them slightly higher and they did look pretty good.
According to Famous Manish Malhotra “Palazzo trousers, skinny pants and jeans for men and women are cool. Knee-length dresses of fitted but quenched at the waist with a belt is a great look to watch out for.”
He gave this statement for 2008 but I haven’t seen any. Personally, I don’t think that would look good in desi wear but haven’t really seen an outfit so can’t comment. I think they’ll look similar to Dhaka pajamas.
hmmm somethings are jst wrong and apparently this is one of them.. .. its like she picked out clothes from her moms wardrobe.. the colors look lovely.. if she had chosen a chooridar or even a shalwar it would have looked fab.
