While that is true I think this service features as a milder form of an escort service. Usually it’s the high earning time poor guys who cannot find time for a relationship who do that. For them maybe that amount is inconsequential. Similarly, a female who has a lot of disposable money and little time for a relationship might choose this set up. In a way since she is paying for quality when it comes to looks and personality it is better guaranteed than randomly finding someone online for a date, the guy would have no ulterior motives or be clingy, it will be secret, she does not have to worry about others finding out, or having the guy discuss details with friends. From the article it sounded like it could even be a platonic date.Or if it’s a 40-45+ old woman who has had bad experiences or divorce, feels like the options are limited, is feeling lonely and wants human contact without wanting to be rejected she might see it as a option.
