Share your ex-crushes (celebrities or otherwise) and why the change of heart?
I’ll start, some dude, a family friend…yikes, man…now that I look back I’ll chalk this up to early tween senility or just underdeveloped frontal lobe, or plain old bad taste. In my defense though, there was a dearth of cute guys around. Luckily, families have drifted apart and I rarely get to hear about him but whenever I do, I have to cringe…shudders
Among celebrities, I tend to have great taste, so the only embarrassing crush is Ben Mulroney (only canadians would know him). It was painful to watch him hosting canadian idol. Now its just painful to watch him.
Three come to mind and I'm not going to mention who they are...but yes... they do make me cringe now. One of them was a celebrity whom I now don't care much for...I find him annoying at times. The other was a brief one...and I got over it cuz the guy later turned out ...just...weird. And the shamefully longest crush makes me cringe the most.....there was a time I didn't think I'd get past it....but the jerk-like actions put me off....they overwhelmed his more positive qualities...and he's now bhai-zoned.

As for crushes
Three come to mind for me too!
The first was when I was in Kindergarten. His name was Michael and he was popular with all of the little girls. I remember asking him to marry me. Alas, his family moved and that was the end of that.
The second one was Grade 9 Art class. He was a senior in school and had to take the class to graduate. Yeah, my heart totally did the butterfly thing when he would come to class. He really was good-looking, but in hind-sight I realize it was pretty superficial of me since he wasn’t necessarily a sweet/nice guy.
The third one was one that I thought was crushing on me and initially it was flattering and I was sort of interested. Only later, it became skeezy on his part, you know when a guy looks at you and it’s just a yucky looking at you? Yeah, I wonder how I could have been flattered and not given him the death glare.
His name was Jessie. He was the badass type and of course I found that hot . But like an month into my crush, he was arrested for some heroin investigation. uffff. Talk about TURN.OFF!!!
Yep, from T.dot (the only liveable place in entire Canukistan...other than Van). And yes to "dongtong" as our fob Chinese friends say.
But what about all the cute, toothless hockey players? I walk by ACC and on occasion the hockey players are arriving for practice (during hockey season) and trust me, they look pretty darn fine with their dentures in :D - you are missing out!

not much has changed except that I’ve never fallen back to the blonde hair/blue eyes thing.
he was in final year of high school and I was just starting out so lucky that there was no chance at all…did send him a valentine though…think it was the only one he received and I completely fell apart when he thanked me…still remember the spaghetti legs feeling…sheesh.
