Hey i'm new...
I think boys actually mean to say that they are interested in you, but they prefer to use terminology that "goes with the flow"... to be cool i guess???

i dont really know how ppl set the standards of being a cool person...
But everybody wants to be known as a cool person... so i am guessing thats why guys say that...
