Have any of you taken a cruise before? Which one did you take and what was your experience like?

i ahve taken cruises everywere in karachi, dubai, thailand, sydney etc.

Adi, i personally think they're a waste of time and money. Self indulgence can be practiced in other nearly not as expensive forms as well. A cruise for a couple would come to around $1500. Do something else for say $800. The $700 you save, thats Rs. 35,000. Enough to feed 350 people in pak a solid three meals each.

In my humble opinion.

Hmmph, you REALLY think anyone would halve the cost of their holiday to feed starving people

I don't think this cruise idea is going to fly anyways....we might be going for hajj..Inshallah...better use of our money.

I strongly suggest the inside passage on Holland America/Norwegien etc from Seattle or Vancouver to Skagway, Alaska along the British Columbia coast.

Cruises are for fat morons and old people. Only the less cultured plaid shirt wearing fools get on a cruise. Sophisticates, spend time at the destination.
