Taken a few. Usually a week long. So far we've stuck with Royal Caribbean and Crystal but will probably try another line next time. Its always been just hubby & I, and yes, we would definitely do it again. We like relaxing/lazy vacations and cruises are perfect for that. We go sight seeing when at a port but otherwise, we lounge around the boat, go to different shows, and end up meeting some very interesting people.

Cruise trips ..

We went on a Disney Cruise to the Bahamas and it was by far the best family vacation we’ve had. I gave a very detailed recount of it on T&T with pictures :blush:

we were planning one last winter when Disney started up from Galveston but couldn't go. This year disney is not using the Galveston port but they will be starting up in Nov 2015 and we plan to go on a 7 day cruise to Bahamas. I can't wait to go!!! Two of our family friends went on the disney cruise in december and loved it! One family decided to use the babysitting/daycare avlb. on board and left the kiddos while they went sight seeing at 2 of the ports. The other couple didn't leave their toddler with the babysitters but still enjoied it a lot.

My kids participated in the kids club activities on Castaway Cay, Disney's private island. They LOVED it!! They were taken on a scavenger hunt and other fun activities....and while they did that, my husband and I enjoyed Serenity Bay, the adults only private side of the island. On the ship, they didn't want to go to the kids club, which was fine with us. We really had a blast and are considering a Disney cruise again!

^ khattichic...by that time my toddler will be a little over 4...not sure if he will be into the scavenger hunt and other activites, not time will tell about that. But i know he will love the mickey mouse shows, and theme stuff.

They divide them up into age groups and then conduct activities based on the ages. My twins were 3 and my eldest 5 at the time when we took the cruise and all three of them participated in the scavenger hunt on the island and the other kids club activities and had so much fun.
