Critics

So most of the pundits before the start of series thought this will be final result…

Test : India 1-0
ODIs: Pak 4-1

Ulta ho gaya !!!

This proves 2 things …

  1. Pudits dont know nothing…
  2. As flintoff said, ‘Tino, This is very funny game. It has funny way of biting in your ass’

Ok.. those were jokes…I think what it really says that
Barring, AUS, next 3-4 teams are pretty much equal. One with most players in forms can beat others on a given day. So just to summarize, If 5 ODIs happens 1 month from now..I bet Indians wont be able to repeat what they did last 2 weeks.

thought??

Re: Critics

i agree with u 100%.One-days hav become so less predictable these days, with stupid laws abt powerplay n super sub, that i wont be surpirsed if bangla beat aussies again :hula:

Re: Critics

They know only as much as we do! You know what, cricket punditi is the easiest thing to do on planet earth. Call a bad ball a bad ball and a good ball a good ball. A bad shot a bad shot and a good shot a good shot. Praise a bowler when he takes a wicket. Praise a batsman when he hits a boundry. That’s it :stuck_out_tongue:

Re: Critics

I still think Pakistan's team has a better mix of players for the ODI format than the Indian team (I mean in terms of tulleybaazs and aggressive bowling).
I actually agree with Inzi's down-to-earth comment after ODI4 - "I think luck is not favoring us"...
If tommorow there was a match between full-strength PAK and full-strength Indian team - I will put my money on Pak to win.

Re: Critics

i hav seen a completely changed inzi in this series,no motivation,no backing up his players as he used to before this series.maybe PCB shud seriously look into his “back injury” i think he has brain injury :smack2:

Re: Critics

Okay…I think that is carrying it too far…

Re: Critics

Yeah I think its Inzy’s complete lack of innovativeness in this series that lost Pak the series…

PCB should seriously consider having him just as a player and Younis as captaan…

Re: Critics

kambakht :nono:

Re: Critics

I actually agree with Ms Nancy.
This is exactly the reason why I consider long-term strategizing and planning for World Cup by various teams such a ridiculous exercise.
Unless you are head and shoulders above your opposition (like Australia is most of the times), anybody can win the One-day game on a given day.
Something is distinctly wrong with the One-Day format and 20/20 is making matters worse.

Re: Critics

You guys are right, the only thing that you can "practice" before World Cup to be competitive there is tight fielding, good bowling.... batsmen can practice as long as they want but they cannot control "form".

Re: Critics

nah, that wud be being too harsh on him any wayz he will be captain until next yr worldcup

Re: Critics

20/20 format is pure batsmen delight,i mean with powerplay rules n 20-20 every upcoming young cricketer will hate to be a bowler soon u’ll be witnessing 500 run targets

Re: Critics

I think 1-day format requires a lot more mental toughness and agility than the test format.
