A sixteen years old kid cannot have a that much of deep knowledge of history, politics and current affairs. If the review is true then she is definitely been used.

Some introductory sentences are just off.
Second part I am reading is personal of malala, its very beautiful.
Her life and stuff.

He just produced extracts from the book and didn't give his own opinion except the title and few lines in the beginning. The question is why she opt to say and talk about such controversial issues. It looked me that her father and NFP been in close company.. so much resemblance in thoughts

isn't Malala's story too good to be true? she hit a jackpot the day she was shot and when the west catapulted her from nobody to somebody status overnight...she gets to meet the Queen N Obama [N$ had to wait for 3 days], is awarded prestigious awards in Europe, gets nominated for Novel Peace Prize...what a rise!
i had no doubt, the moment i heard about her being shot and the attention she got, that she can't be the one who is behind all the talk associated with her...all BS about what she believes and whatever. a 16 year old doesn't have that capability to have such a foresight in world affairs, current politics and the religion.
she is a mouthpiece for someone else!

Thing is its easy to find some one who can say stuff.. But then creating space around them promoting them.
For malala of course she has a story, but also too many other people as well.
Now I am going to record what I did not like.
1- I am from a country which was made at midnight and I was shot in mid day.
some what implying it was sin done in darkness and haste.
If any thing was done it was done to us robbing our areas
2-My home land 5 hrs ahead of uk, but centuries behind.
I mean you lived there 7 days and you came up with dramatic lines ??
1-She introduce ayat ul kursi in best selling book, to millions of non muslims, that is kind of very cool

Like we don't go by Christmas, we usually remember eids.
The language is very shamelessly European specially about the event which is not actual malala story, her story is cute and stuff.. but other descriptions "she" gives are not pakistani at all. I will post more such examples tomorrow.

About the review.
Orya Maqbool Jaan has to spend a Hot summer day in burqa to realize that Malala was just making a statement, not criticizing.
How comes its Malala or her Father's fault if she thought that Sikandar-e-Azam was a hero. Our whole Pakistan, with pride, name their son Sikander and think that it means Shujaat,
Mullah Umar was the leader of same Talibans who ended up shooting Malala. Was Orya Jan expecting Malala to call Umar some kind of hero? Why the hell Orya is so ticked about Malala disrespecting Mulla Umar? Right there it shows that the person is biased and pro taliban. His review is no different than the book he is claiming to be agenda based, cause his review is also agenda based.

Understood.... To me it was alright to refer Christmas in relation to Soviet invasion of Russia, as that happened near Christmas.... But why discussing these issues in her autobiography? Was she writing a history of Pakistan from Afghan war till date?

So she(Christina Lamb) knew that time real well, perhaps she did not like zia.
