This is the DC guy. I’m using the cali guy as an example of my mom’s wrath. My mom doesn’t know about the mugshot. My dad - I called him this morning, and he was trying to see if it’s just a misunderstanding or if it was absolved in court…I’m like please, who gets pulled over at 6 am looking drunk in his photo driving a car that is not his.

Yeah bechara. He says “dont tell your mom, she’s gonna have fireworks”.

hmm bit complicated, I apologize but in my opinion only desperate people contact a rishty wali khala or this sort of web-sites for finding a best match. I am afraid if you could find a decent man over there… kinda scary to trust a person whose past is completely un-known to you. I believe someone from relatives, friends, colleagues, acquaintances… can be a best match for one, rest, Allah knows better. Good luck!

well personally speaking getting pulled over for driving a car u have no license for is not a big deal really.
it would matter if the car is stolen otherwise no big deal.

secondly, if he doesn't tell her mom that he is seeing someone, could be because of the fact that his mom or his family are still old fashioned who doesn't approve of guys and girls dating. may be his family doesn't approve of a girl who dates a guy before marriage and might think of her as not worthy of marrying their son to so this could also be the reason he is hiding you from his mom. i am not sure but could be any reason.

but things like his irresponsible, carefree attitude is much bothering. you didn't mention if he does anything for living or is living on his parent's money still at the age of 36?

if you seriously have any feelings for him then i suggest you speak to him openly about all that's bothering you n then based on his responses and based on the way he addresses your doubts, decide if is it worthy to go ahead with him or leave.
