Re: 5 more civilized people on a mission to spread “freedom” caught in the act in Ira

^
Hey tool
Raping and killing innocent women and children is now the American way, is it?
A 14 year old girl gang raped while her family is murdered in front of her…
These are the ideals American was founded for? This is the liberation you promised Iraqis?
And you wonder why the WHOLE WORLD (not just the Middle East), hates America? Go anywhere on this planet, even Canada, and tell them you are American and you will get nothing but hatred due to agression and militarism like this.
I can almost cry when I think of the horror and terror this little girl must have felt as she died. What a terrible world we live in…

I read this article and I can’t express my sorrow over the things that are happening and the sheer death, destruction and terror both “Al Quaida” and now especially the Americans are spreading over this planet.

Group: Soldiers killed over rape-slaying

By ROBERT H. REID, Associated Press Writer 1 hour, 36 minutes ago

BAGHDAD, Iraq - An al-Qaida-linked group posted a Web video Tuesday purporting to show the mutilated bodies of two U.S. soldiers, claiming it killed them in revenge for the rape-slaying of a young Iraqi woman by American troops from the same unit.

The Mujahedeen Shura Council previously claimed responsibility for killing the two soldiers, who were seized in a June 16 attack near the town of Youssifiyah, southwest of Baghdad. A third soldier was killed in the attack.

But the statement was the first time the group linked the slaying to the rape case.

A statement by the group said the video was released as “revenge for our sister who was dishonored by a soldier of the same brigade.”

It said that as soon as fighters heard of the rape-slaying, “they kept their anger to themselves and didn’t spread the news, but were determined to avenge their sister’s honor.”

“God Almighty enabled them to capture two soldiers of the same brigade as this dirty crusader,” said the written statement posted along with the video.

The U.S military has charged five soldiers, including two sergeants, in connection to the March 12 alleged rape and murder of Abeer Qassim Hamza in the Youssifiyah area and the killing of her parents and a younger sister. The U.S. military released the identities of the suspects Monday.

A previously discharged soldier was also arrested in the case last month and charged with rape and murder.

U.S. investigators had said there was no evidence linking the deaths of the three soldiers last month to the alleged rape-slaying.

It was the first time the council had linked the killing of the Americans to the rape case, although it had claimed responsibility for the U.S. deaths. Abeer’s uncle told The Associated Press last week that the family didn’t think the Americans were involved until the Army announced its investigation June 30.
The U.S. military said Tuesday it condemns “in the strongest of terms” the release of the video showing the two mutilated American soldiers. “It demonstrates the barbaric and brutal nature of the terrorists and their complete disregard for human life,” it said in a statement. “Coalition Forces remain resolute in our in commitment to catch the perpetrators of this crime and bring them to justice.”

The 4-minute, 39-second video shows two bloodied bodies in torn military uniforms lying near a curb on a bridge over a canal. One of them, partially naked, has been decapitated and his chest cut open. The other’s face is bruised, the jaw apparently broken, and his leg has long gashes. Fighters are shown turning the bodies over and lifting the head of the decapitated man.

These are not actions of “mujahideen”, rather cave-tribal mentality of “revenge”.

All this is going on and no muslim country is doing a thing...

Will Allah not ask his people what did they do to help other muslims?

I break down mentally when I read these accounts. I can't even imagine what these people are going through. Its enough to break down every man mentally.

Re: Crimes of US soldiers (merged other similar threads)

If you are referring to governments of Muslim countries then you can forget that, if you are referring to ordinary Muslims around the globe then they get labelled ALQ members when they help their brothers, its a very dangerous line to tread these days.

Re: Crimes of US soldiers (merged other similar threads)

And, what should be the main concern of ordinary Muslims around the globe?

Labelled as ALQ members or rot eternally in Hell?

Re: Crimes of US soldiers (merged other similar threads)

"Ordinary" Muslims... they need to get their acts together first, otherwise will be rotting in hell anyway :D

**U.S. soldiers describe comrades killing
**

By RYAN LENZ, Associated Press Writer Thu Aug 3, 6:47 AM ET

TIKRIT, Iraq - Two American soldiers Thursday described in gruesome detail how their comrades allegedly killed three blindfolded Iraqi detainees, one of whom was covered in brain matter and another who spit blood during his dying moments.

The soldiers testified during a military hearing to decide if the four soldiers should face a military court-martial on murder charges for allegedly killing the Iraqis after detaining them in a house on May 9 near Samarra, 60 miles north of Baghdad.

Cpl. Brandon Helton testified that he was the last man off the helicopter that brought a group of soldiers to a marshy island outside Samarra in search of suspected al-Qaida operatives.

By the time he reached the house, the Iraqis had been detained, he said.
He said he saw detainees fleeing before they were shot. When he approached, some of the detainees had their blindfolds down and were “running at full sprint.” At that point, the soldiers fired.

“The first one fell flat down and the second one, whenever he got shot, it was kind of like what you’d see in a movie where he spun around and landed on his back,” Helton said. “I seen one spitting up blood.”

The four accused soldiers — Pfc. Corey R. Clagett, Spc. William B. Hunsaker, Staff Sgt. Raymond L. Girouard and Spc. Juston R. Graber — initially said the detainees were killed because they tried to escape, but military prosecutors have said they were freed before being shot.

The shootings have dealt another blow to the reputation of U.S. soldiers in Iraq](http://search.news.yahoo.com/search/news/?p=Iraq) and fueled anger against the coalition presence. U.S. troops have been accused of a string of civilian deaths in Iraq, including the alleged massacre of dozens in Haditha. Another hearing is scheduled this weekend for soldiers allegedly involved in the rape and killing of a 14-year-old girl.

Earlier in the hearing, another witness, Spc. Micah Bivens, recalled hearing the shots fired during the mission, but said he did not see the soldiers fire.
Bivens said as he approached, he knew immediately that two were no longer living based on their wounds. Referring to one victim, he said: “There is no way that he could have been alive considering there was brain on the ground.”

Bivens said he never heard a discussion among the accused of a plan to kill the detainees. He also said he doesn’t recall brigade commander Col. Michael Steele ordering the soldiers to “kill all military-aged males,” as others in the unit have alleged.

At least one of the accused has said orders from Steele were to “kill all military-aged males” on the day of the mission. Several witnesses offered variations to the order in testimony, including restricting fatal shots to only those who failed to surrender.

Steele, who led Army Rangers during the 1993 battle for Mogadishu in Somalia, has denied the allegations. He declined to speak to reporters about the charges.

Girouard, Hunsaker, Clagett and Graber could face the death penalty if the case is passed on for a court-martial. They are accused of concocting a story to justify the shootings and covering it up from military prosecutors.

The first three are also accused of obstruction of justice for allegedly threatening to kill Pfc. Bradley Mason, the prosecution’s leading witness who testified Wednesday.

All are members of Charlie Company, 3rd Battalion, 187th Infantry Regiment, 101st Airborne Division.

I normally don’t call US soldiers as “trigger happy” but some of them really are. They caught some people, made them run and then shot dead. Tsk tsk!

Re: Crimes of US soldiers (merged other similar threads)

^ considering how the marines are full of homos, i would have expected them to kill innocent iraqis with more finesse. Shooting in the head, that's so not faboulous. We need a Queer Eye for the Marine Guy.

Re: Crimes of US soldiers (merged other similar threads)

What are you talking about. US soldiers (aka terrorists) are as trigger happy as they come.

Re: Crimes of US soldiers (merged other similar threads)

Are there any large scale demo's in the US by people (especially those who supported the war) condemning these depraved acts by their soldiers?

Re: Crimes of US soldiers (merged other similar threads)

Sick people.

**Investigator: U.S. Soldiers Drank, Golfed Before Rape **

U.S. soldiers accused of raping and murdering a 14-year-old Iraqi girl reportedly drank alcohol and hit golf balls before the attack. An investigator told military officials at today’s hearing he interviewed once of the accused on June 30th and recorded graphic and brutal sexual details of the March 12th assault. Investigator Benjamin Bierce was testifying on the second day of the hearing to determine whether the five U-S soldiers must stand trial in the rape-slaying and the killing of the girl’s parents and five-year-old sister. The rape and murders are among the worst in a series of cases of alleged misconduct by American service members that have tarnished the American military.
