Thanks some 1 for acknowledging the fact that it was the last ball effect due to which most of the people remember Chetan Sharma. There were countless impacts of that last ball six and you just mentioned one of it.
Have you ever heard of people remembering saqlain as the bowler who was hit by Chauhan or Kanitkar for boundries in his last overs in 2 ODI’S? Got my point? Zero impact:D
BTW people do remember saqlain for his many accomplishments including getting tendi’s wicket and than remaining in the Chennai test match:D

Chetan Sharma did get a hattrick in the 1987 world cup, so it wasn’t like his career was cut short because of the Miandad six.

Saleem Malik, when he wasn’t throwing matches, was a treat to watch. He was a very fluid, wristy, stylish batsmen who made batting look easy. And who can forget his Calcutta innings in 1987? And his 237 against Australia is rated one of the top Test innings of all time.

Dominic Cork - most irritating and disrespectful asshole to have EVER taken the pitch. I’ll never forget his lack of respect towards the Pakistan team in '96 (?), in particular Saeed Anwar and Waqar Younis. I HATE HATE HATE him!

Yeah, someone shed light on this? I have always found him a decent captain, a good batsman and a fair commentator.

I’ve always found Ranatunga to be a gentle a-la-shrek person. Like his batting too. And muralitharan is a nice down to earth guy too. He’s never showed attitude to batsmen and is always smiling to them during deliveries. And hes a solid pair of hands in the field too.
Kumble on the other hand always has a face like someone stole his dinky car especially when younis khan reverse sweeps him or afridi takes him over the ropes.
