While surfing the Internet, came across with this new launched privately owned Cricket website of Pakistan.

Enjoy!

Yeah I saw that... it was mentioned on jang. I am not too impressed by it though. It bascially has taken all the content from cricinfo. There is not originality so there is no use of it. I might as well got to cricinfo. All this site does is it takes out the crap about other teams and focuses on Pakistan which is the only good thing.

The site is about Pakistan Cricket not other teams :snooty: Maybe you don’t find originality or perhaps your Definition of Originality is different than mine LM but IMO, the teenage chap has done a marvellous job. :k:

Features Training Camp, Intercollegiate are impressive, needs a lil bit more touch. The section of Street Cricket is yet to come.

Stick Around :rotato:

WoW you figured it all out that this site is about the Pakistan cricket team and not other cricket teams. Thats exactly what I said in my previous post but I guess not only our opinion of originality is different but we read/write/understand english differently too.

By originality I meant most of the stuff on the website. The headline news atleast for the past three days is a word to word copy of cricinfo. Players stats are taken fromn cricinfo and even then they are not updated regularly. It still shows that Yasir Hameed hasnt played a single test match. The headline on the main page tells you about the century by Mohammad Hafeez, yet the stats show Hafeez hasnt even played a single test match. The reason is it was taken from cricinfo and never updated.

I think they should rather concentrate on updating their stats with correct information then opening up new sections.

Really? You should visit Cricinfo more often. It does show Hafeez-Hameed stats of Test Cricket. You got it right..our understanding of English is different. Btw whether you take stats from Cricinfo or other Cricket site it doesn't do any harm.

The reason I suppose why Cricketabad doesn't update is clearly as it is privately owned by a teenage chap living in Karachi and the site hasn't been up for one week. I give the credit to the guy who came up with this idea. Well..he got salute from Gen. Zia so I suppose PCB will make perhaps Cricketabad as it's official site in the future? Seems highly unlikely though.

No **** Sherlock Cricinfo stats are updated but Cricketabad that copies the stats from Cricinfo has not yet updated the stats for the Pakistani players. The wbsite went online less then a week ago atleast they should have updated the stats of the players beofre doing it.

Why dont you go ahead and get your facts straight first. Cricketabad is not owned by a teeanger living in Karachi. Yes, the site is designed by Ghazanfar Siddiqui a 19 year old guy. It was launched by Ali Nasir Joint Director of Enowate, and it was Ali Nasir's brainchild.

Dont need to, I was just making sure people on this board dont follow the crap information you give them. So now everyone has a clearer picture. Man, you talk about things so confidently, things you have no clue about. Say hi to the teenager who owns the website.

Yeah whateva.........

Just checked out the site, nothing original about it.
Everything else is copyed from cricinfo, more of a copy and paste kind of site.
