Mohammad Zahid, an example of lean bowler who was genuinely quick

Proof that bowling quick is not just about muscles. It’s the action, the run-up, the wrist position etc. Fast Bowlers are born but to stay quick and relatively injury free it probably helps to be muscle bound. can’t think of many genuinely quick pace bowlers who had decent careers but with a physique like Zahid’s

Personally the quickest I have seen anyone bowl was that Shoaib Akhtar over to Ponting at WACA in 2002
