he started his international career by taking the wicket of Australia’s Brad Haddin with his second ball in one-day internationals, in Hambantota in August 2011.
A month later Eranga struck with his first ball in a Test, also against Australia, having Shane Watson caught at point at the Sinhalese Sports Club in Colombo.

One of the youngest test cricketers was Laxman sivaramakrishnan..15 yrs old..circa 1980

Re: Cricket Unique Stats

He was youngest Indians test cricketer at the age of 17 years, 118 days but his record was broken by Sachin when he was 16 years and 205 days.

Re: Cricket Unique Stats

Thanks. I think Laxman made his Ranji Trophy debut at the age of 15. Cause I distinctly and vaguely remember tee association with age 15. Might have seen him in 1978 home series vs 2nd rate Widies team. I think Packer series was on. So the big boys did not come.

Re: Cricket Unique Stats

Aftab Baloch holds the record (428 Runs) of Highest Score on Batting Position No. 4 in First Class Cricket.

Re: Cricket Unique Stats

Wasi Akram holds the record of highest wicket (881 Wickets) in List A Cricket.

List A cricket is a classification of the limited-overs (one-day) form of the sport of cricket. Much as domestic first-class cricket is the level below international Test match cricket, so List A cricket is the domestic level of one-day cricket below One Day International.
