Cricket terminalogy

Like others, I am a cricket fan, but I don’t have a clear idea about the following terms. Please explain, thanks.

By and Leg-by: Definition and difference b/w them, who gets the run - batsman or the team, does the ball counted?

What is the difference b/w Leg-breaker, spinner and googly.

Bye...when the ball passes by untouched by the batsman, and a run is scored in the meantime.
Leg-bye...when the ball touches the batsman before passing through, and run is scored in the meantime.

Leg break....when the ball breaks towards the off side. For a right-handed batsman, the off side would be to his right, and vice versa for lefties.
Spinner....a generic term for a slow bowler...one who makes the ball spin, whether its a leg break, or an off break.
Googly....A ball thrown with a full palm grip. Basically, its a confuser, where owing to the grip, the batsman expects an off-break, but the ball turns the opposite way.
Hope this helps, and perhaps others can correct me if im wrong.

Err, isn't it the other way round? The bat expects a leg-break and instead gets a disguised off-break in the form of a googly.

Maybe somebody can verify this?

Thanks Akif and sambrialian. Now, what’s off-break?

Off-break is that the ball pitches on or outside of off stump and turns in to the batsman (towards leg). I’m talking about a right-handed batsman here.

Off-break is basically the opposite of a leg-break.
