So I worked on it all morning.

But it’s a great past time, nice application, great for collecting match stats, generate a report and do all kind of things. This software requires a number of additions and modifications to it. The option of picking our own colors and font formats for report headings are all good. From my perspective, there is not much of a GUI feel to it, it is more of a text-based report in a plain format, which also works well in it’s own secretive ways. The functionality I found was quite effective, filling out the innings scorecard is very simple and user-friendly. One area where it is lacking more from a development standpoint is the Fielding Events; dropped catch and hat trick are the only two options listed under that category. A few of them that could potentially be considered are runs from overthrows and (wrong) umpiring verdicts, so if we were to go back to it 6 months from now, we would instantly know the details in how that match was shaped. The Summary page, I do not know the method behind it for the purposes of display, but the highest scorer is listed in the middle and the individuals getting 50’s and other related scores are listed at the top. Also, some sort of a divider between the batting side and the bowling side just to separate the two would be a decent idea, I would think.

Other than that, good times with it. As time moves forward, we will take over CricInfo very soon.

is there any limitation to this evaluation version? will it expire after some time? or just some of the features are not available with this version?
I am thinking of using this software to keep our clubs' stats this comming season.
