Choose one path: Islam or cricket.. the blending of the two creates an impression of a “lost” egomaniac who has nothing to do with his life. You are saying cricket is a waste of time because you have not witnised those blissfull events, that magic with the ball which made it dance in the air… those sultans of swing who used to badazzled the opponent with their amazing accuracy and speed.

My friend you were not even concieved when Imran khan lifted the cricket world cup in 1992. When the angels descented to congratulate him and iluminate the sky, when the player prostrated to thank their lord, and gleeful spectators prayed to God that they may never wake up from their dream… but God was smiling at their innocnece as he had already converted their dream into reality…

Take it from someone who has never watched a cricket match( or any sport match for that matter). You can smell passion, or even see it, in die-hard fans of cricket even from far, but never once did I think that these people literally worshiping cricket are wrong. I think most of it has to do with them being a part of Pakistan. I am sure just any cricket match is not even half as interesting as it is if Pakistan is one of the two teams. It tripples the excitement and fun, of course. It just brings out that patriotic feeling, even if they deny that it has nothing to do with being patriotic.

Sports make men around the world go crazy.. let's face it -be it basketball or cricket. Take your pick..

Well thanks code_red anyway for the e-mail but I don't know why do we have these schmucks like "the game" over here trying to make blatantly false innovations for a waste of time like cricket (I just can't take it even for a joke.. it's that half-arsed thing known as CRICKET!!).
