I was wondering if u eve rhad a close encounter and got hurt during cricket,Ive been playing amateur cricket for 2 yrs now,fractured my foot once thanks to a blistering yorker but other than its been good.but something happened this morning.i bowled a half fully and the guy hit a cracking shot straigt back.i was still in the follow thru but it went like an inch to the left of my head.It was so fast that when i looked up it was already passin me.So i jsut wondered what wud have happened if it was an inch to the right.With that momentum,meray sir to kuch na bachta!!.Ddid anyone else have this experience and have ppl died this way in cricket?
btw,i finished the match:P,but i just thought abt it after.

I've top edged a pull straight into my face without a helmet on. I've also been hit on the foot by a yorker from the fastest bowler in our league but that was in a practice session but just bruised my foot no fractures or breaks. Thas pretty much it.

even the best bowlers over pitch balls,im the opening bowler for my team!
Ouch,the face Afridi!!!How bad was it?I think the batsmen get more injuries like those or have a chance than bowlers.but the sort of injury im taking abt can be more lethal,i remember an almost similar accident in baseball a few days back.
