I personally know a person who used to let out his venom of hatred the moment he used to see “Yusuf Yohanna” make a cross with his thumb after completing his century. I recall his words, " Yohanna always plays well whenever the match is already in Pakistans control but not in the case where he is needed to rescue"
But his opinion about Yusuf’s CRICKET changed drastically even when Yusuf didn’t perform after he became Mohammad Yusuf. Some cases were totally opposite to this. I remember a person calling Mohammad Yusuf’s 9 consecutive centuries in 2006 (after keeping a beard) a selfish act. Mostly that man loved to bash bearded people, and couldn’t stand their appreciation.
Similarly, I know a person who couldn’t digest any words of appreciation regarding pathans, due to which he was always ready to spew his venom against Afridi or Yunus khan on even one bad performance, easily ignoring their good performances.
The way some people are always ready to bash Yusuf calling him a bearded morron/Maulana sahib..etc., makes one wonder that if the recent two shoaibs of Pakistan cricket team had a beard, all their acts/habbits/words/fights/conspiracies…etc. would have been indirectly attributed to tableeghis.
May Allah (swt) help us in keeping our heart clean from all kind of bias views and prejudices, based on minor experiences/observations/personal preferences…etc
