PCB to organise charity match for flood victims
LAHORE: The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), in collaboration with the City Government, has planned to organise a festival match at the Gaddafi Stadium on **August 13.
“We fully share the grief and pain with the Prime Minister at the devastation caused in Sindh and Balochistan because of rains. My heart also goes out for the families of those who lost their properties and dear ones. The entire PCB shares the pain with them and prays to the Almighty Allah to give them the strength to restart and re-establish their lives,”** the PCB Chairman added.
The Prime Minister will find the PCB shoulder to shoulder with him in this testing time and PCB will try to generate as much revenue from this match so that it could also play its part in this noble cause.
In this context, we hope that the citizens of Lahore will support and cooperate with the PCB.
The entire earnings from the game will go to Prime Minister’s Flood Relief Fund.
The day and night match will start at 2100 hours and PTV is also planning to show the match live.
