CRICKET: As explained to a foreigner...

You have two sides, one out in the field and one in. Each man that’s in the side that’s in goes out, and when he’s out he comes in and the next man goes in until he’s out. When they are all out, the side that’s out comes in and the side thats been in goes out and tries to get those coming in, out. Sometimes you get men still in and not out.

When a man goes out to go in, the men who are out try to get him out, and when he is out he goes in and the next man in goes out and goes in. There are two men called umpires who stay all out all the time and they decide when the men who are in are out. When both sides have been in and all the men have out, and both sides have been out twice after all the men have been in, including those who are not out, that is the end of the game!

This is how you will explain it to Ganguly!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

khel mein do tarfain hain. eik bahar medaan mein or eik under. har banda jo andar ki taraf hai, jo andar hai, woh bahar jata hai, or jab woh bahar jai, woh under aata hai, or isi tarha agla banda under jaata hai, yahan tak keh wo bahar aye. Jab wo sub bahar chalay jayen, to wo taraf under aa jaati hai, or under ki taraf under chali jaati hai bahar anay kay lye. or isi tarah under bahar ka silsila chalta rehta hai. Baaz auqaat to banda under hota hai or taraf bahar aajati hai.

Jab banda bahar jaata hai under anay kay liye, jo banday bahar hotay hain, koshish kartay hain keh usko bhi bahar lay ayen. Or jab woh bahar jaata hai to wo under chala jaata hai. Aur nya banda bahar aata hai under jaanay kay lye takeh wo under chalaa jaye. Wahan per do aur log hotay hain jo 'Umpair' kehlaatay hain, jo har waqt bahar he rehtay hain or yeh faisla kartay hain keh kon under jaye gaa or kon bahar. Jab dono tarfain under hoti hain or saray aadmi bahar, or dono tarfain do do martaba out ho jaati hain yahan takk keh saray aadmi under aa jayen, jin mein woh bhee shaamil hain jo under nahee aai, to match khatam ho jaata hain.
