Creeped out

So I was hoping you guys could give me advice because I’m really really creeped out.
Some rando kept mesaging me/adding me on FB. I blocked them and none of my friends added them either or responded. Well that person made ANOTHER fake account and messaged me, which I also blocked. The creepy part is, that they messaged me about something that only people that know me in real life know about (ie: school plans). Well…regardless, this morning, I received a missed call on my home phone from a random number and when I looked it up, it’s the same name and city and state as the random person that’s been contacting me.

I know this sounds elementary but I’ve already blocked them and now I’m really worried/creeped out. My parents were confused as to why some desi name/number showed up on their caller ID this morning and I think my dad may even try to call them back…and of course, that’s going to make things 100x more dramatic/weird/creepy so I’d rather try to find a solution on my own.

Any ideas? Has this ever happened to someone else? My fb is super private and I don’t have my number/address/anything like that on there…

Re: Creeped out

You sure it's not someone close to you trying to annoy you? or someone from your school etc.?

Re: Creeped out

Friends playing a prank?

Re: Creeped out

Well I was thinking that but then the first profile, second profile AND the phone number are listed in some random city in Pennsylvania which is nowhere close to where I live. I don't even know anyone from there. And the person/people exist because I'm able to look up where they went to high school on google...

Re: Creeped out

Thats the point, they want you to think its some stranger...

Next thread.

Re: Creeped out

I would say dont worry about it too much. These things happen but if it does go further than this, then do reveal it to someone in your family.

Re: Creeped out

Make a fake profile on FB and then mess with their mind

Re: Creeped out

That is creepy! Did you try doing a reverse lookup on Whitepages? Or you can just block that number as well as calls from any private number. You don't want some creepy person knowing your house # and talking to your parents and saying something which could get you in trouble. Unless it's a friend playing a dumb prank.

Re: Creeped out

I get that but then how could they call from a legit number in Pennsylvania if it's someone I know, considering I don't know anyone on that side of the country? At least, I don't think it's possible...

Re: Creeped out

Man, its easy, google voice. Get with the program.

As evil PCG suggested, make another account and add them instead. You so evil PCG.

Re: Creeped out

yeah I did. It's the same guy/girl that's added me on fb and messaged me (the one that I blocked). Same name...same town...same state. Same everything. I JUST found out my mom had called them back because she misread the name and thought it was a family friend from out of town but the answering machine answered and it was just one of those robotic generic machines...

I'm really worried because this person is clearly creepy and I don't want my parents to think I'm doing somethign shady...which I'm honestly not. This whole things makes me feel gross. Why is someone going through the lengths of finding my home number...and then calling it?

Re: Creeped out

When they messaged you on FB....what exactly was written? Also, you can't figure out by their name whether it's a guy or girl?

Re: Creeped out

big deal............ i don't understand why people haven't figured out how to deal with ''internetz'' still now...

Re: Creeped out

"Hey r u into _____ school now???" The 1st profile was a male (that also messaged my best friend / her sis in law). The 2nd profile is a female variation of the 1st profile's name (Saad-->Sana) with the same last name BUT the gender says male. I'm assuming its' the same person and it's a male.

I wouldn't be too worried if this nutjob hadn't called my house in the morning.

Step 1- tell your parents what's going on.

Re: Creeped out

^Exactly, tell your parents for your own assurance.

Re: Creeped out

Exactly... why don't you tell your parents. What's there to hide? I would tell of course if some random person keep stalking me... not my fault.

Re: Creeped out

Maybe its the OTHER account that only FRIENDS should know about.

Re: Creeped out

ok I told my mom. And she called the number back and asked the boy what his problem was. At which point the boy promptly hung up.

Re: Creeped out
