Credit Reports

Hi folks,

So, the only place you can go to get a credit report is from that annual credit report dot com place? I know you can send them a written request for a free report…

Is there a disadvantage of ordering the credit report online?

And who the heck has this information? I mean these are websites that are running my social security, and they can come up with my credit history…which means they already have my ss# and they already have all the info tied in with that number. So what third parties have access to it, then?

Re: Credit Reports

  1. All of your history (credit/edu/family) is digitize across the board all over the US & in some European Countries too.

  2. These websites match your Social Security, DOB, Maiden Name & then ask you random questions according to your financial history for ex (do you have citi savings account, yes or no) .. etc. - after all the security measures cleared, they will pull out your credit report from secure data warehouse.

  3. Anybody can access your credit report, all he/she or it (corporation) need your Social, DOB & Maiden. Federal government by law force companies to take written authorization or if’s it online, digital signature (for ex. please print your name on form) for giving them authority to pull your credit history.

  4. Their is no disadvantage of having credit report online, you are entitle to have free credit report once a year.

  5. It’s recommended to everyone to subscribe monthly to any good online credit report company, in my case i am using Citi Identity Monitor (Identity Theft Protection and Credit Monitoring at Citi(R) IdentityMonitor(R)).

Your credit score/history is the most important thing before death in a capitalist economy, it can make or break your life !
