Is it possible to get a card I can top-up and then use online instead of a credit/debit card?

I feel a bit unsafe handing my bank details around.

You may use prepaid cards there may be other payment instruments that protect the anonymity of your transactions & your source of funds but it depends which country you are based in & on what channel you want to use your payment instrument at

Why not use Paypal or any other system of internet payment . Which one to use depends on where you live.

They seem ideal, can they be used for Direct Debit?
