The current war has exposed the credibility of Israeli media. Every news from Arab media has been proven to be right. When Israeli gun boat was struck it was reported by Israelis to have sustained minor damage. Later on it turned out to be totally damaged. Few weeks back Israel boasted to finish the job in four weeks. Now four weeks have passed and nothing has been achieved by Israel militarily except killing innocent civilians and causing massive damage to the infrastructure. Now Israel says it will take one more month or more.
Israeli military goal: To get back the captured soldier is now a distant dream
Another Israeli mission of preventing rocket attack would
remain a dream. If anybody has followed the past events
which ultimately forced the Israeli withdrawl from
Lebnon was to stop Hezbollah from regular rocket attack.
Israel withdrew from Lebnon in 2000 to meet a key
demand of Hezbollah so that Hezbollah won't continue
rocket attack.
And indeed Hezbollah kept its promise and never launched
rocket attack after Israeli withdrawl. It only carried out a
military strike on 12 th July to pursue its goal of liberating its
long held comrades.
The current Israeli campaign is bound to fail since Israel couldn’t stop Hezbollah rocket attacke in 2000 after 18 years of bloody battle, then how they can do the same in a month.
