What makes someone creative. And someone else, well, not?
Do you think creativity can be measured? if so, then how?

Re: Creativity?
I think there are different forms of intelligence (mathematical intelligence, social intelligence, etc) and creativity is one form. I think this intelligence is partially inherited and partially developed by using that particular form of intelligence.
I am not aware of a formal way to measure creativity (as is done for IQ) but one could distinguish between the level of creativity of two people if the difference in how creative they are is obvious. What would make it harder to measure creativity is that it can be expressed via different mediums: music, art, writing. It would be hard to compare creativity across different mediums unless one was decidedly sophisticated and the other was decidedly mediocre.

Agree with AnokhaYaar.
Another very important aspect of creativity is flexible thinking and ability to process information from many different angles, as well as coming up with solutions that stem from varied thinking.

YES, the measure for creativity is.....................
SIX DAYS!........................
does anyone know why six days?
I believe creativity is innate however it can also be acquired. But there will be slight difference between the two always. You can learn to be creative thru inspiration, hardwork and techniques but the creativity that you are gifted with will always have a natural flare to it which will weigh heavy on the acquired one. But i think in oder to tell the difference between the two one ought to be very creative himself to figure out one from the other.
1) Creativity can be measured but only subjectively not objectively cuz what mite be art for one mite be trash for the other.
2) Creativity is about originality, ideas, expressions and thoughts. And i agree its a very slight possibility to be someone who lacks in all these areas.
3) Creativity can be developed but only with alot of conviction, hardwork and inspiration.
To me, A creative person is someone who has his own ideas, thoughts and the want to experiment in life and make their own observations. Its someone who is not wanting to go by the book, instead make their own readings.
