What is the most creative invitation you’ve ever seen?
I saw a velvet scroll that rested in a carved wooden box once for a wedding we were invited to.
The only problem with that one was postage…really pricey to mail them out.

Re: Creative Invitations...
^^ yea, we also got a scroll, but it was in a normal "paper" box if that makes sense....it was lovely......
personally i want a box invite, with my card and some mitai on the side......only for relatives and close friends.....it will be a keepsake for them..... :D
Re: Creative Invitations...
^^ That sounds cute! The box idea :)
There's a couple we know, where the guy is Turkish and the girl is Pakistani, but both are Canadian citizens that met in France! Lol! Their story's super cute! But, their invitation basically mimicked a postcard from France, it was the coolest thing ever! It was so pretty, and the postage stamp was a picture of them. I'm sure the invitations were expensive, but they looked super awesome!

^ OMG that postcard sounds SUPER CUTE!!!!
Re: Creative Invitations...
i designed vintage telegraph invitations for a couple with a custom "stamp" on them. they were letterpressed and turned out really well.
love the postcard idea too. i've seen that mostly for save the date's.
i've also seen destination wedding invitations that resemble airplane tickets and passports, and ones that look like posters from a rock concert or a movie.

wow where did they get those invites from?
i think punjabi rose had scroll invites too loved them
Re: Creative Invitations...
well my brother had the same styled card you as you described. velvet fabric with printing details on it i a scroll style, in a box. we decorated the outside of the cards with ribbons, and a contrasting colored gem. it looked really nice.
the cutest one i had ever seen was a white box with a hot red ribbon and a bow(SUPER CHIC) and inside was an other red little box with chocolates inside(kisses)with it was the invitation card white, with the info/details but the catch with it was it had a net veil wit a cute pearl! it seemed really expensive but i loved it!
