well... its not like the kids are far away or at another event entirely. and at least they're not sitting at the table being bored and the moms aren't running around trying to discipline them! i would hope moms would want their kids to be entertained and not cause a fuss at someone else's event. i think you should run the idea past your family and see how they respond to it- a lot of people were like why're you wasting your money, etc. when i first told them about it, but i went ahead and did it anyway because i believed it to be a worthwhile cost, and i had ZERO complaints from my aunts/uncle's and plenty of thanks instead. try it! you might be surprised :)
also, how are kids at shaadi's anyway? most pakistani shaadi's don't start until 11:30 it seems and dinner isn't served until 1... isn't that wayyyy past their bedtime?
