You are right to say that no science is absolute and it changes over time as new theories come about. The whole point of the thread is that no new theory has challenged evolution yet, and teaching intelligent design as an opposing theory is wrong because it has nothing to stand on.
Furthermore, I think it's very possible to believe in God and evolution at the same time.
