Is this normal, or is this one more of their crazy shows?

I thought Japanese people were all about discipline, manners and being polite? This is worse than Pakistani buses, at least no one pushes or shoves like this.

Look at the passengers , not body seems to mind this pushing and shoving. They all want to get to work or go back home ASAP. I think they appreciate extra help with this sardine packing.
