Crazy ideas for shalwaar kameez!

I say this is a crazy idea for a shalwaar kameez, because, well - look at it! Fur trimmings, the kameez resembling a coat, the cropped pants…

Fabric is wacky.

crazy because of the material, and the cuttings at the lower end of the kameez (daaman area)

Look at her hair! Awesome! My hair looks pretty messy in the mornings, but how can you get messy hair to look that beautiful? Sometimes, this picture makes me think of a mermaid. Probably the blue background. God, this is a beautiful picture.

I know , I know - the neck area probably does not bode well with the more religious types. But the kaam done on it is magnificent. And her hair. Oh my God her hair.

How can you NOT think this is a work of art? Look at the sleeves? And the hair. How can one make their hair look like THAT? The sequins add the crazy attitude to the kameez. Totally something NOT traditional. If I wore this, I’d be flapping my arms around just to show off the frills on the sleeves. I’m vain. Very vain.

Its blue. My favorite color. Save the best for last. And no, I do not want every muslim girl out there who is looking at this dress to go off and make a strapless shalwaar kameez. Rather, I want you to look at the shading, the material, the dupatta - what a magnficient dupatta. And if you want to go strapless, then well - whatever floats your boat. OH and do you see the matching purse?

PCG, I adore outfits displayed in pics #1, 3, and 4 among the ones you’ve posted above. Gorgeous works of art! I LOVE the mughal trends and the various styles and cuts they’re displayed in. I have a breathtaking sleeveless burnt-gold, deep orange, and turquois outfit that has heavy bead and thread work on the pants. It’s a Meeras outfit from Nilofer Shahid’s collection and is brand new. I can’t wait to wear it soon.
