This movie is not very highly publicized, but it’s an incredible movie with a very high profile cast…Sandra Bullock, Brendan Fraser, Ryan Phillipe, Ludacris and Don Cheadle.
“Crash” has one of the most memorable scenes in recent cinematic history. I won’t give anything away but it involved Thandi Newton and Matt Dillon and takes place later in the movie. The scene is absolutely perfect. Although the two actors aren’t always my favorite, at that moment you could tell that they were there and in the moment. The scene alone is worth seeing the movie. As for the rest of the cast, everyone is good, but no one is stand-out, which may be good for a movie like this where no one is meant to be the star. I do have to say that Dillon does a great job and Bullock makes a nice turn to the ultra-dramatic.
If you haven’t seen it, make sure you don’t miss out.
The only reason i skipped this movie was the presence of Sandra Bullock in the lead role, i just can't stand her.. but the movie itself has got great reviews.. i think i'll give it a look this weekend.
i watched the movie cuz lots of my co-workers told me its good...and i ended up watching it and i totally loved it. Its a must see for everyone...very well made movie.
it was ok.. a lot of hollywood propaganda ahead of the immigration debate i guess..
in the end.. the morals were
Blacks will be black.. and they are where they are cuz of the quota system and 'tolerance' exhibited by the whites.
hispanics come in many flavors and they don't indulge in violence or have a house full of kids (yeah right)
Whities do good no matter what they are doing.. even if they do bad, it's either accidental or it's non-whities fault
Chinese are a poor and desperate to come to the USA
Iranians are ill mannered and violent.
and all together we don't have an immigration problem.. they are all human beings and deserve to be here.. and if we think otherwise, we're racist.
One of the best movies ever made. Had a very profound message: that we are all racist pigs. Even the rainforest pygmy will find someone to look down on. But we are all given chances in our lives to rise above our pettiness and see our enemy as a friend.
