I’ve always liked crafts. I’ve done mosaics, stenciling, cross-stitching and I’ve been teaching myself how to knit. Are any of you involved in crafts? What sorts of things have you made?
I want to invest in a sewing machine because I am interested in quilting as well..but I’m not sure if I’ll be able to do it. Have any of you made quilts etc?

I made a quilt and it comes out like the pattern I have in the book, it is easy to make if you have any guide line or some sort of a book, I buy a book from Joann and matching fabrics too, then cutting, sewing and bating the quilt is ready. Now a days I am trying to take classes for some crafts making.
I also made a cross stitch wall hanging and I have a pattern of quilt wall hanging, I think I will finish it soon.

So just to confirm, you need to have a sewing machine in order to make a quilt?

I used to like to sew until the machine started giving me problems and messed up the stitching...eventually I did it by hand to finish it off and get it over with. Knitting used to be fun when I was younger and knew how to do it but I don't remember how to do it anymore.
