i love them both… but just cant decide which one would be better … or would they be same in all aspects?
its just for the first few months… then im gonna be travelling for 3 months.. so by the time i come back, she will be moved onto the cribwhich her bro will have HOPEFULLY given up for a toddler bed.
the only diff i can think of is.. with a moses basket.. u can just pick it up and tkae it around with you… cant do that with a cradle unless its got wheels.. and even then.. its a hassle manuvering it around te house. hmm… thats bout it…
neither of them have a very high weight limit though- up to 12 lbs if you keep them on the stand… at least the ones we have here. if you have a little chunker, the whole pick-up-and-go thing might not work. we found this out very quickly with baby g. i found this to be a better option because you can pick it up and go and it lasted him about a month and a bit before he outgrew the length. plus i also liked that he was on the bed next to me and i wouldn’t squish him, and it didn’t take up as much room as a moses basket on the bed. ours is all ivory in color- http://www.amazon.com/First-Years-Secure-Sleeper-Colors/dp/B00012CHFI
Sgc"..dont laff… But i bought that for midget when hewas born… One nit i heard himcrying so i looked around but couldnt find him… Then i realized i had bulldozed on him… The poor thing was under me!!! I never put him in bed with me… Again… :(Otherwise it was ideal! I really need something i can put next to bed … I wonder how fat genie will be…her bro was just lonh…otherwise thin… Hmmm…we have a queen size bed… Which husbamd takes up most of
what about a bassinet? the one that you can reach in and it's right next to the bed unlike the moses basket taht will not be of the bed height.. and as far as I know bassinets can be easily moved around as well.. have you thought about looking into pack and play playard.. you can actually take that with you when you travel!!
ok this is going to sound silly but everytime I hear the word moses basket, I feel like it means you have to leave your baby in the basket and send it across the river.. I just picture a lil baby floating on water in that lil basket.. the thought doesnt sit well with me. :(
